Number of vehicles provided
also repairs, conversions, car reservations
In 2024, the “Free in Spirit” Charitable Foundation donated more than 1,300 vehicles thanks to its fruitful work and close cooperation with Ukrainian charitable foundations and foreign donors. This number includes cars, off-road vehicles, trucks, and specialized equipment, including excavators, ambulances, and fire trucks. These vehicles, which have been transferred to military units, have significantly increased mobility and efficiency in performing combat missions.

It should be noted that in February 2024, in collaboration with the American charitable foundation Together for Ukraine, 10 new pickup trucks were handed over to the Mykolaiv Military Administration for mobile fire teams that protect the skies of Mykolaiv region from Shahed kamikaze drones. These vehicles have significantly increased the mobility and efficiency of the units responsible for countering enemy drones in the region.
Repair, re-equipment, armor for cars
Drones and innovative developments
and our pride - a drone with a machine gun on board
In 2024, the foundation focused on the development and transfer of modern technologies to the Ukrainian army. The foundation organized its own production of hexacopters and FPV drones, which are used for aerial reconnaissance, strike operations, and remote demining. The foundation also provided for the purchase and transfer of drone analyzers that allow for early detection of enemy drones. Thanks to funding from U.S. donors, a ground drone with a machine gun was purchased and is actively used in assault operations.
Humanitarian aid
During the year, the foundation delivered two large batches of humanitarian aid as part of humanitarian convoys from Finland and the United States. The convoys included laptops, monitors, printers, generators, solar panels, batteries, heaters, turnstiles, first aid kits, medicines, hygiene products, food and camouflage nets. Particular attention was paid to the supply of medical evacuation equipment, such as stretchers, medical beds, adaptive clothing, trolleys for the wounded, as well as medicines and medical instruments.

The humanitarian aid was delivered not only to military units, but also to schools, kindergartens, medical institutions and administrations in the affected regions of Ukraine. In cooperation with UMAS, the Foundation provided warm clothes to internally displaced persons in Kramatorsk.

Laptops for civilians and fire trucks were also donated.
Engineering support
The foundation's engineering activities included repairing, painting and armoring vehicles, as well as preparing allterrain tracked vehicles for combat conditions. In addition, the foundation donated a forklift used by the 241st Brigade to unload ammunition. Cooperation with partners from the IT sector allowed us to purchase and transfer turrets, body armor, powerful automotive electronic warfare systems and electronic warfare systems to the Ukrainian Defense Forces, which significantly enhanced the technical capabilities of the units at the front line. In addition, in partnership with artists from Lviv, we managed to purchase ATVs, which were transferred to the Air Assault Forces for use in combat.
About partners:
In 2024, the Free in Spirit Charitable Foundation significantly expanded its network of partners, which allowed it to attract additional resources and expertise to implement important projects. Cooperation with international and Ukrainian organizations covered both the military and humanitarian sectors.

Among the key partners, it is worth noting the American organization Zero Line and the Finnish charity foundation Zero Line Finland, which remain the main drivers of humanitarian convoys to Ukraine and the main partners of the Free Spirit Charitable Foundation. These partners have helped deliver dozens of vehicles, as well as generators, solar panels, medical evacuation equipment and other essential supplies. The NGO Engineer Corps is working with the foundation to develop innovative solutions such as electronic warfare systems, FPV drones and ground drones with weapons.
This year, new organizations and companies have joined the circle of partners, significantly expanding the range of support:
  • Service station “Nissan Authorizer” LLC
provides repair of military vehicles, including re-equipment and painting of vehicles for combat conditions
  • State Emergency Service (SES)
became a partner of the foundation in projects related to demining. The supply of equipment for sappers and divers who carry out underwater work was especially important.
  • UMAS Charitable Foundation
is a civilian partner that helps to provide internally displaced persons with clothing, food and other basic necessities.
  • Talisman IT
is a group of Ukrainian patriotic donors who financially support the implementation of critical projects aimed at saving the lives of the military. Thanks to their help, the purchase of turrets, bulletproof vests, and other protective equipment was financed.
  • Company “AvtoDiya”
assists with the search and purchase of vehicles abroad, which allows us to respond quickly to the needs of military units
  • Public Council of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS)
has become an important partner in supporting border guards by providing them with transportation, equipment and communications.

The most successful projects of this year should be highlighted separately.

In cooperation with international partners, two large humanitarian convoys were organized in May and September 2024. The most successful projects of this year should be highlighted separately. Delivery of the ship and equipment:
Convoy:
Convoy 1
In May 2024, the Foundation, in cooperation with its partners, organized the first humanitarian convoy. Dozens of cars, trucks, an excavator, a fire truck and an ambulance were delivered to Ukraine. In addition to the vehicles, generators, batteries, solar panels, turnstiles, medicines, medical supplies and technical equipment for military units were delivered. A significant part of the cargo, including vehicles and equipment, was sent to the 241st Brigade, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, and the Eye Star project.
Convoy 2
In September 2024, a second humanitarian convoy delivered even more vehicles, including cars, trucks, and an ambulance. In addition to transportation, the convoy included medical evacuation equipment, camouflage nets, heaters, solar panels, adaptive clothing, inclusive wheelchairs, and specialized medical equipment. This cargo was also handed over to key units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and administrations in the combat zones.
One of the Foundation's most unique and large-scale projects in 2024 was the transfer of a fishing boat for underwater demining. This project required about a year of work - from the first conversations to the delivery of the boat to Ukraine. Thanks to the cooperation with volunteers and donors from the Zero Line Finland charity foundation, as well as the support of the Finnish government, all stages of this complex plan were implemented.

The boat was purchased at the expense of donors from Finland, and its delivery to Ukraine, in particular to a dry dock in Odesa region, was paid for by the budget funds of the Finnish Ministry of the Interior. After delivery, the ship went through all the necessary registration procedures as a maritime vehicle and received the official name F-7. The name has a symbolic meaning: the letter “F” is Ukraine's gratitude to Finnish donors, and the number “7” indicates that this ship will be the seventh in the fleet of this type in Ukraine.

The ship's captain is Serhiy Voronov, who is the director of the Naval Museum of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Along with the ship, donors also provided a pickup truck (which will facilitate the transportation of underwater equipment), scuba gear, oxygen tanks and other underwater equipment. This equipment was donated to the Naval Museum of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The equipment Serhiy Voronov received as a gift from German scientists is particularly important for the demining tasks. This equipment allows for precise water analysis to detect explosives and explosive objects, and most importantly, to determine their exact location. This can significantly improve the efficiency and safety of underwater operations.

The boat was launched in the Odesa region, where technical work and the necessary documentation were carried out from October to December 2024. During this period, approvals were also being prepared with the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS) and the Ukrainian Navy. The first sea trials of the ship are scheduled for January 2025, which will be the final stage of its commissioning.

This project is a prime example of synergy between international donors, Ukrainian partners, and the military. The transfer of the F-7 will not only strengthen Ukraine's underwater demining capabilities, but also demonstrate our country's gratitude for the support of international partners such as Finland.
The success of these projects has been made possible by established cooperation with partners who share common values and understand the importance of supporting Ukraine in its fight for freedom.

Expanding the range of partners has allowed the Foundation to significantly increase the scale of assistance to both military units and civilians.
